This is it...

Pd and I have just ran from the train station to announce some groundbreaking news. After much struggle we have secured a trio of last minute FIRST CLASS train tickets and will arrive in Cairo, our raison d'etre if you will, in time for breakfast.

Next time you hear from us, our journey (for the meantime) shall be complete. Holy shit.

Cape to Cairo successfully completed. How I longed for this day on the 5th of March when you guys said goodbye. To quote a much loved and respected traveller and adventurer: 'HELLA HELLA HELLA STOKED!!!!!!'

Hi Matt, Jared and PD
Well done on achieving your Cape to Cairo goal so successfully, you must be stoked. The memory banks must be overloaded with adventure stories to last for ages, but this is not really the end. Life is a big long adventure, make the most of it, many people don't. Keep the news reports rolling.
Lots of love,
Helen
